sue’s chicken noodle soup
INGREDIENTS
• 2 chicken breasts
• 2 medium leeks
• 2 carrots, grated
• 3 celery sticks
• 1 onion
• 2 packets chicken noodle soup
STEPS
1. Put 2 chicken breasts, 2 medium leeks, 2 carrots, grated, 3 celery sticks, 1 onion and 2 packets chicken noodle soup in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to the boil.
2. Reduce to medium heat and simmer for about an hour, or until the meat is tender. (1 hour)
3. Take out the chicken pieces, remove the meat from the bone, then return the meat to the pot.
